Meet the Team
Our Team
-
Tyler
It all began with a few years ago with the idea to merge a passion for building cars with his very competitive personality. On raceday you can usually find Tyler in the race truck for the first stint then assuming the crew chief role for the rest of the day. Thankfully with a good team behind this captain, he can sometimes make the job look easy!
-
Marcel (Mars)
Mars is an accomplished drag racer who is also our engine and tuning expert. You likely haven’t heard of many people making big power with mid 2000s GM V6 engines but if you have, you probably have probably heard of this guy! Parked in the snowbank of his front yard, you can find the world’s fastest GM 60 Degree V6 sitting in a 3rd gen Camaro!
-
Jon (Uncle Jon)
A.K.A. the Closer... Uncle Jon is always the one setting record lap times in the truck. Beyond just setting the bar for everyone else to chase, Jon’s a huge asset around the pits and at the shop preparing for race weekends. As a machinist by trade, he’s also responsible for any of the home built fancy parts we have on the truck.
-
Rob
After 30 years of spectating and one year volunteering as a crew member for us back in 2019, Rob couldn’t wait to jump in the driver seat in 2020 and hasn’t looked back since! When he’s not in the driver seat, Rob is responsible for radio communications to keep the team in constant contact with the driver.
-
Marissa
As the team nutritionist, head videographer, and social media updater, Marissa has an extremely important role for our team on race weekends. Beyond that, she likely has the toughest job of anyone as she’s married to the team captain forcing her to put up with his pursuit of motorsports glory 365 days a year!
-
Laura
While she may be extremely camera shy, Laura is a key part of the team! She’s responsible for re-fueling on pit stops as well as absolutely anything else we throw at her! As a Registered Nurse she’s also saved the day multiple times when helping us (and our competitors) deal with the harsh side effects of heat exhaustion.
